Tomorrow

Tomorrow is another soccer day. The day that Ava brings the snack. Because, by now, we have determined that the best day for the kids her age is snack day when they get to pass out the treat for everyone! She did so awesome last week. Scored two goals and was so excited. I will be watching Emma play tomorrow and Travis will be with Ava. Hopefully we won't need blankets and sweatshirts and jackets but it has been awfully cool so far this year. I can't wait.

What month is it?

Ava scored 2 goals on Saturday!!! When she gets going with that ball, she is amazing. She spends her time worrying about getting a break so she can play her sisters ipod but when she is on the field, watch out! Emma is still trying to find her place on this team but seems to be doing okay. They had pictures on Saturday and it was absolute chaos. But they look so cute. I still haven't seen one of Kaitlyn's volleyball games yet but will hopefully catch some this week. Other than that, not much else to say except that it was C O L D this weekend. I would like to see it warm up a little bit. Fall soccer last year was beautiful. I am not looking forward to a cold and rainy season.

Summer ends

I am getting anxious for the end of summer. My kids going back to school and this year my baby girl starts Kindergarten. September 6 will be a rough day. Isn't it funny how fast it goes. My oldest is in her last year of middle school and even though Ava has been in the schools for 2 years with preschool and daycare, she is a big kindergartner this year. Mom will cry because I am a crier but I am looking forward to an exciting year for all 3 girls. Emma can't wait for school. She is my little learner.
Along with a new school year comes new adventures as well. Fall soccer is right around the corner as well along with a new sport for Kaitlyn. She is going to play volleyball instead of soccer. That is something different for us as it has ALWAYS been soccer but she wants to try something different. Everyone says she is so tall and she will be good at it. I hope she doesn't have my grace and poise or else she may just be falling all over the volleyball court. I am definitely a klutz. We will see how it goes!
Emma starts a softball hitting clinic in October right after soccer ends so I am thinking we will have a spring and summer spent at softball fields. She will have fun. Ava just wants to play soccer again. Mom, did you sign me up. Mom, when does soccer start.
Well, that is my update for now. School starting, sports starting, time to get in the Renaissance Festival and hopefully the state fair but only time will tell. More again soon I hope!

Not quite yet.....

Well, I guess it was too cold and the fields were too wet last night for soccer to start. So, I guess we wait until tomorrow. Yesterday was a crazy day and made me think I was going to have to run like Taz. Hopefully instead it will be a little more relaxed tomorrow.

Another year!

I heard on the news today a new word that perfectly describes the weather today. It is "Sprinter" in Minnesota right now. Technically, spring but feels more like winter. What a great day for my girls to start soccer. Kaitlyn is thinking of giving it up (but she doesn't play now anyway) but Emma is excited to play and it is Ava's first year playing. Should be fun! Wish me luck that all goes well and we don't turn into popsicles.
